Satyapriya Roy College of Education (SPRCE) Library started functioning on the fourth floor of Satyapriya Bhaban in the name of then All Bengal Teachers' Training College since 1967. But gradually the collection of the library was increased. The remarkable day came when the college was shifted to the new building named as Anila Devi Bhaban at A-287, Sector-I, Salt Lake and renamed as the present name in 2006. The library has rich collection with more than 6000 varieties titles of books and more than 30 academic Journals. The area of library is 1200 sq.ft and there is provision of separate Reading Room of 600 Sq. ft.. The College provides a scientifically arranged library with a spacious and noise-free reading room for students, teachers and research scholars. As the Computerization of the library has been completed, users may search for books through OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue).
The library has a rich collection of books in the subject of English, Bengali, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Life Science, Geography, Sanskrit, Environmental Science, Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, Education, History and Commerce. Besides, a rich collection for M.Ed & M.A and Research in Education has been procured by the College Library. Users of the college can access more than 97000 e-books and 6000 e-journals through N-List, the Inflibnet Programme.
