Library provides reference and referral services to its users. The library staff is expert to provide required answer to a particular query. The referral service is also provided to its users in case of non-availability of any information source in the library. Users are directed to another library where the source is available.
The Librarian provides research guidance to the research scholars of this institution as well as outside scholars.
The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) provides facilities to the users to search the library catalogue online. Users can search the documents by putting name of the Title, Author, Subject, ISBN, Series and Call number to search the documents available in the library. The library provides its users about the most recent information by offering a current awareness service. The library facilitates them access to the most recent newspapers, periodicals, general knowledge books, and books for competitive exams. Besides, new arrivals also displayed for the users.
In the reading room desktops with internet facility are available on which faculty, research scholars and students can access e-resources and other information as per requirement.
The students, Research Scholars and Faculty Members can avail AC reading room facility in the college library so that they can read within the specified time all the library documents.
The Journals and Magazines are displayed in the Display Corner so that the users can be aware about the latest issue of the journals and magazines subscribed by the college. The current issues are displayed in the Board and back volume are stocked in the Drawer of the Desk.
There is separate wall display unit where publications of the faculty members are being displayed on regular basis.
The Books which procured are displayed in the New Arrival Section so that users can know what recent books have been procured by the library.
The Library gives the patrons the news about employment by keeping Employment newspaper and gazette by displaying in the Employment News Corner.
The library gives access to e-resources of N-LIST, NDL, Internet Archives, Directory of Open Access Journals, E-Newspapers, etc. These resources can be accessed in the Library.
Previous years question papers and syllabus are available in the library website that decreases the time of the students. On the basis of this students can prepare their examination
To increase the awareness among faculty, students, research scholars and staff about the use of the library and its services, the library organizes an awareness and orientation program timely so that users can be acquainted with the use and location of the library documents.
